Calling for a day of memory for victims of honour-based violence.
Karma Nirvana, a charity that supports victims and survivors of forced marriage and honour-based abuse, partnered with Cosmopolitan, the world’s largest women’s magazine brand, earlier this year, to lobby Theresa May MP.

The day of memory being proposed is 14 July, the birthday of Shafilea Ahmed – who lost her life in 2003.
