Sarah Hampton, an American activist targeted for an intimate relationship by undercover police officer Mark Kennedy, has been taking legal action against the Metropolitan Police and has recently been issued a comprehensive apology by them.

She issued a statement today, which reads:

“Love is one of the most sacred things we have in our society and I fell in love with Mark Stone.
