The Girls in the Criminal Justice System report assessing the effectiveness of youth offending services, secure establishments and other organisations working to reduce the vulnerability of girls and their likelihood of offending was published recently.

The report is the result of a joint inspection made by HM Inspectorate of Probation; the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales; the Care Quality Commission; HM Inspectorate of Constabulary; HM Inspectorate of Prisons and the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted).
